Some of old computer cases have divided the USB front cable. Usually there are 8 cables with a port on each cable. Every port marked with a note: “VCC” for red cable ; “GND” for black cable ; “D+” for green cable ; and “D-” for white cable. Each time you print a document, your printer will do the calculations for each printing. And finally, the cartridges will detected as empty cartridge. Although you already refilled the cartridges, but the printer cartridges will still be detected as empty cartridge.

For Canon Pixma MP270, here’s how to reset printer ink level, so that the cartridge is not detected as empty cartridges anymore:

Printer MP258 when it turn on, LCD display error P 07, this step will resolv erro P 07 on printer MP 258.

Reset Preparation:

Step 1 : The printer is turned off

Step 2: Press STOP / RESET button and hold, press and hold the POWER button.

Step 3 : POWER button is pressed, release the STOP / RESET, then press the STOP / RESET 2 times in a state of the power button is pressed.

Step 4 : Release both buttons simultaneously.

Step 5 : The printer will proceed in a while , then the LCD panel will show the number zero

Step 6 : The computer detects new hardware, ignore it

Step7 : This state indicates the printer is in a state MP258 SERVICE MODE and ready to reset.
